Archdiocesan Schools Opening in Fall

Dear Parents, Grandparents and Guardians,

I have some exciting news to share with you. Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of Baltimore will open for faculty on August 24th and for students on August 31st. The AoB is receiving technical assistance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) to help to inform our plans for a safe return to five day, in-person instruction for the start of the 2020-21 school year. It is important to note that for those families who do not feel comfortable returning their children to in-person instruction, we will have a remote learning option available to them and will be able to take part in synchronous instruction from home.

I am grateful for the Archdiocese's leadership in making this decision and know well that St. Ursula will continue to partner with the AoB in preparation for a return to campus on August 31. Our energy will remain focused on the safety and well-being of our community members, as we optimize the opportunity for direct instruction for all of our students.  Although more information will be sent home in the coming weeks, I want to make sure you received this wonderful news before the weekend.
