BOOST Scholarship Program
The Maryland State Department of Education BOOST scholarship program will provide $10 million in nonpublic school scholarships for qualifying students for the upcoming 2021-2022 school year. The “BOOST” Program, or “Broadening Options and Opportunities for Students Today,” will enable low-income families to attend nonpublic schools.
Who’s eligible for BOOST?
- Low-income students whose family income is at or below 185% of the federal poverty level. Please see the Income Eligibility Guidelines for more information.
- Public school students, as well as current nonpublic school students, may apply.

- Apply for a BOOST scholarship at www.marylandpublicschools.org/BOOST
- Please be sure that you select St. Ursula School when applying.
- DEADLINE: The application deadline is Monday, May 17, 2021, at midnight.
