General Information Update

New Mass Options

St. Ursula Church has added 7:30am and 9:00am OUTDOOR masses to the schedule for this weekend (June 20/21). We have heard from parishioners that they don't love registering for mass, the indoor mass times don't fit their schedules, they are uncomfortable wearing a mask for an hour, or, quite frankly, they have children who will be unable to do so, and many are are still not comfortable being indoors, even with the social distancing guidelines that we have put in place.  We've heard you and we appreciate all of those concerns!  St. Ursula is doing a couple of trial masses this weekend to see if a 7:30am & 9:00am OUTDOOR mass is a good option.

Here are the details:

  • Mass will be held on the parking lot near the Spiritual Center
  • Enter and park from Harford Rd.
  • Bring your own chair, or blanket, for your family to sit on.
  • Masks NOT required.
  • Registration NOT required.
  • Social distance guidelines will be in place.
  • Weather dependent.  If it is raining, no mass.

If any of the above reasons have kept you from returning to mass, please consider the outdoor option.  If there is enough interest, we will continue to offer outdoor masses as weather permits.  Returning to church has been wonderful but attendance has been low. We miss seeing all of our friends and families!  We hope that the addition of the outdoor mass option is one that will allow more parishioners to return!  Please share this information with your SUS and St. Ursula friends.  Feel free to forward, and we'll see you this weekend!

Summer Office Hours

The school office will be open on Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.  Please use the main entrance located on Manns Avenue. 

Virtual High School Fair

For incoming Grades 6-8: On Tuesday, June 23, 2020, the Archdiocese of Baltimore Department of Catholic Schools is hosting a Virtual High School Fair for families interested in getting a jump-start on the high school admissions process. From 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., families will have the opportunity to engage with representatives from Catholic high schools in the Archdiocese of Baltimore. The sessions will provide a glimpse into the admissions process, highlight signature programs, and share information regarding scholarships, financial aid, transportation, and much more! Participating schools will rotate live video sessions and families may register for up to four. Yearbooks

For those that pre-paid, yearbooks have shipped and will be available for pick-up in the school office during normal summer hours beginning the week of July 6.  If you did not order a yearbook and wish to do so, please respond to this email and your name will be placed on a list.  We have approximately, 25-30 extra yearbooks for sale. 

School Supplies

School supply lists, by grade, will be available on the school website beginning the week of July 6.
