Information:
- Water Bottles – Once again it is warm outside so children can bring water bottles to class with them through next Thursday, October 11, 2018.
- Mothers’ Club – Moms, grandmoms, and aunts, it is time to gather again for our next Mothers’ Club meeting on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 6:45 in the school library. Please enter through the gym doors. We hope to see lots of new and returning faces. Food and beverages will be provided. Please RSVP to [email protected].
- In honor of the Global Children's Eucharistic of the Rosary event being held on October 5 all around the world, the St. Ursula School Community will participate in a Holy Hour to pray for peace in our schools, families and world in front of Jesus as He is truly present to us in the Holy Eucharist. The students, faculty and staff will bring their petitions to the Lord as they pray the Most Holy Rosary before the Most Blessed Sacrament. In preparation for this prayerful event the children have been learning about the Rosary, Children of Fatima, Miraculous Medals, and Adoration in religion class. Morning work this week has included these themes. Please ask your child to share with you what they have learned. On Friday the children will receive a Miraculous Medal and prayer card following our Holy Hour. If you are interested, St. Ursula Parish will hold a Holy Hour on Sunday, October 7th from 4:00-5:00 p.m. at the Church.
- Stem Career Discovery Day for Middle School Girls - REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN for Expanding Your Horizons: STEM Career Discovery Day this fall, which will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 9-3 at Stevenson University.
- Our EYH event for middle school girls allows them to experience a day filled with Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). Attendees will meet female role models working in STEM professions who will showcase career options in their fields. The girls will hear from a keynote speaker and then participate in a three fun, hands-on STEM workshops based on their interest. Please check the workshops which are being presented this year. Please note that that this year we have some funding to grant scholarships to girls who want to attend our program but cannot pay the $25 fee. We hope to see your future scientist at our Owings Mills North campus in October!

- Volunteers – Please don’t forget to sign-up to volunteer. If you are Shield/Virtus approved we really need your help. The volunteer form is attached.
- Student Cash Raffle, Student “Day of Fun” Raffle, and Student Gift Card Raffle – It is not too late to turn in these raffle tickets. If you need the forms please email the school office at [email protected]. The drawings will take place on Thursday, October 11, 2018.
- Used Books/Liquor – Don’t forget to donate any unwanted books for our Used Book Sale or liquor for the liquor wheel.
- Sponsorship Form – If you are interested in becoming a sponsor please see the attached letter that discusses the different sponsorship levels. This is a great way to advertise.
