Information for the Week of March 9, 2020

  1. 80’s Dance – Come join us on Saturday, March 28 from 7-11pm for the 80’s dance.  If you purchased tickets for the January 18th event they are still valid for the new date.  To order tickets please go to this link https://payit.nelnet.net/form/rh0a1VgB
  2. Book Fair Next Week – The Book Fair is scheduled for next week, March 16th through March 19th.   See the attached schedule for when your child will be attending.  Don’t forget to check out the E-wallet. No more lost money and sad kids. It is a secure way to give kids money to buy books.  Any unused money returns to the parents at the close of the book fair.  Details can be found on our Book Fair homepage:   https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/bf/stursulaschool1.  Also, meet Dog Man at Family Night on Monday, March 16 from 4:30-7:30 p.m.
  3. Mothers’ Club Meeting – Calling all mothers, grandmothers, aunts and other maternal caregivers to help keep our year successful by joining us for the next Mothers’ Club meeting.  It will be on Thursday, March 19 at 6:45pm in the Spiritual Center located in the basement of St. Ursula Church.  Help us in planning upcoming events.  Food and beverages will be provided.  Please RSVP to mothersclub@stursula.org. 
  4.   5. SUS Night at Conrad’s – SUS PHSA is sponsoring a Spirit Day on March 23 at Conrad’s in Perry Hall.  We will receive 15% of your check from 11:30 a.m -10:00 p.m.  You need to bring the attached flyer with you.
  6. SUS Adult Bingo – Join us on Saturday, April 18 for an adult Bingo.  You must be at least 21 years old to attend.  See the attached flyer for details.  Advanced ticket sales can be purchased using this link  https://payit.nelnet.net/form/cWwvHGvE  until April 13. 
  7. Fathers’ Club Golf Tournament – It is time to sign-up to participate in the Father Robert C.   8. BOOST Scholarship - The Maryland State Department of Education has opened the application for the BOOST Scholarship Program for the 2020-2021 school year! This program is open to new applicants and families attending our school.  You must reapply every year.  It is based on your income as it relates to free and reduced lunches.  The application for BOOST can be found here:  www.marylandpublicschools.org/BOOST The link to the application is along the right column and is available in English and Spanish.  The application deadline is April 24, 2020.  See the attached flyer for more details.

  1.
