Information for the Week of May 29, 2019

St. Ursula School Information for Week of May 29, 2019: 

  1. Knights of Columbus Scholarships - Bishop Sebastian Knights of Columbus is again graciously giving us scholarship money.  This money must be given to a family whose father or grandfather is a member of the Knights of Columbus in any council.  If you would like to be considered, please send a note to Mrs. Glinowiecki by May 30th stating the name of the Knight and his council.  
  2. Mothers’ Club – It is never too late to join in our Mothers’ Club fun.  Our last meeting for the school year will be on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at 6:45 p.m.  Bring a chair as we will have our meeting in the courtyard.  If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we will move to the school library.  As always food and drink will be provided.  Hope to see many of you there! Please RSVP to mothersclub@stursula.org. 
  3. There are no more Hot Lunches, Special Lunches, and Good Taste Catering lunches this year.  All will resume next year.  Thank you for your support.
  4. Youth Ministry Bonfire – For students in grades 6-12 please join us for a bonfire on Friday, June 7th from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

  1. Pizza John’s on June 11 from 5:00-8:00 p.m.  15% of the proceeds will benefit SUS. 
  2.  Chick-fil-A Spirit Day on June 12 from 12:00-3:00 p.m.  20% of the proceeds will benefit SUS. See the attached flyer. 

Summer Camps: 

  1. STEM Summer Camp –   St. Ursula is hosting a summer camp in conjunction with Baltimore Robotics/Star Academy from July 8-12, 2019. We currently have eight children registered for the afternoon session (incoming grades 6-8).  We need at least ten children or the afternoon session will be cancelled.  We still have some openings in the morning session (incoming grades 3-5).   We need a minimum of 10 for each camp to run and there is a maximum of 20 spots available.  All information can be found at the registration link for the St. Ursula Summer Robotics & Drone Camp.

Support Our Parish Life:

  1. Vacation Bible School – Vacation Bible School is scheduled for July 15-19th from 9:30-12:30 and is open to all children in grades PK through middle school.  Adult volunteers are also needed.
  2. St. Ursula Youth Ministry Activities  – See the attached flyer for information regarding upcoming events this summer.
