  2. Calvert Hall Summer Basketball Camp - With the warmer weather on its way, I want to reach out to our athletic community to invite your child to the Calvert Hall College Basketball Camp. As you may know, this will be my first summer directing the Hall's basketball camp and I am thrilled. Basketball summer camps are close to my heart because they were a major catalyst in my own basketball career. As a kid, I was a camper at Five Star Basketball Camp and later I became a Five Star Basketball Camp coach/employee for over a decade. In their heyday, Five Star turned out famed basketball players and coaches, such as Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Coach K, and John Calipari. I inject as much of this expert camp experience into every summer camp I organize.  This year we have new equipment, a team of enthusiastic counselors and camp veterans including former Calvert Hall Head Coach Joe Baker, and our own BCL Hall of Famer and esteemed Coach Mark Amatucci as a coach and speaker.  This summer we are offering four sessions. There are three  sessions (six hours/day for five days) and one exclusive evening session for older kids (three hours/day for five days). All our sessions are co-ed and age divisions will be assigned for each session. Please see the attached flyer for more details or visit my website.  – Coach Jason Hasson
