Race Day Round-Up

Many, many thanks to all St. Ursula families! SUS students sent out over 10,000 Race for Education letters this year.  We are more than halfway to our goal, so please tell your family and friends to keep sending in those Sponsor Letters and donations! Money will continue to come in even after the Race Day.  We’ll keep you updated on the total! You will receive your child’s returned letters in mid-May so you can send out “Thank You” notes to your sponsors

  • The Race Day will be held Friday – April 12th   
    • Participants can be out of uniform – shorts are permitted & please wear tennis shoes.
    • PLEASE SEND A WATER BOTTLE MARKED WITH YOUR CHILD’S NAME so that he/she can take it outside while he/she runs.
    • The weather is uncertain, but if there is precipitation, the decision may be made to hold activities in the gym. If this is the case, there will not be room for parents to attend.  Only those previously scheduled to work will be allowed in the building.
    • As long as we are outside, parents are invited to come and watch. Please park in the church lot.
      • Pre-K – 2 will be outside from 8:30 to 9:15. 
      • 3 – 5 will be outside from 9:30 to 10:30. 
      • 6 – 8 will be outside from 10:45 to 11:45.
    • DISMISSAL IS AT 12:10.
    • The St. Ursula and St. John’s parking lots will not be available until 11:45
  • CONGRATULATIONS to the 583 students who brought in their 10 RFE Sponsor Letters on time.  You all will be enjoying a PIZZA PARTY on 5/13/19! (Teachers will have the list and let you know who will be invited)
  • CONGRATULATIONS to the 291 students who brought in their 15 RFE Sponsor Letters on time!  We hope you enjoy using your NO UNIFORM PASS on 5/13/19! (Teachers will have the list and let you know who qualified)
  • CONGRATULATIONS to the 132 students who brought in over 35 RFE Sponsor Letters on time!  You will be invited to a Morning of Fun on 5/8/19!  You will enjoy a fun breakfast in the gym, games, activities, and a chance to win prizes.  PLUS you can be out of uniform on that day too! (Teachers will have the list and let you know who will be invited)
