Information for the Week of January 6, 2020

Ravens Add-On: As our Baltimore Ravens begin their playoff run to the Super Bowl, we want to show our support.  Therefore this Friday, January 10 will be a purple/black, Ravens attire add-on day.  This includes jerseys, t-shirts, socks, ties, hair accessories, etc.  Go Ravens!

  2. PHSA Teacher Appreciation Letter – Please see the attached letter from the PHSA regarding how to best thank our teachers for all that they do. 
  3. Catholic Schools Week Schedule – Catholic Schools week is January 27-31 Visitation will occur on Monday, January 27 through Wednesday, January 29 from 8:30-10:45.  On both Monday and Tuesday you will be visiting during periods 3-11 and on Wednesday you will see periods 20-27. Thursday, January 30 will again be a pajama day.  The students need to wear school shoes (no slippers!) since they will go outside if the weather permits.  Friday is our traditional Spirit Day.  They may wear any purchased spirit wear or anything blue and/or gold.  Dismissal Friday, January 31 will be at 12:10.  School will be closed on Monday, February 3rd.
  4. January Lunch Volunteers – If you have some spare time we are looking for lunch volunteers for the month of January.  This is a great way to get service hours.  All volunteers must be Virtus approved.   5. Re-Registration – Re-registration for the 2020-2021 school year will be sent via an email through SchoolAdmin that will include a link for you to use.  Just a reminder that your child will not be considered enrolled until all checklist items are complete. If you will not be returning to St. Ursula for the 2020-2021 school year, please respond to this email. This information will enable us to prepare for the upcoming school year.
  6. Fathers’ Club Meeting - Please join us Sunday, January 12th in the SUS Gym for our monthly Fathers Club Meeting.  The start time is 8:00PM.  Food and drinks will be provided. Hope to see you there!
  7.   8. Lucky 1500 Tickets –Don’t forget to return your tickets.  You receive 1.5 hours of service for every ticket bought or sold.  If you would like additional tickets please contact Susan Williams at swilliams@stursula.org.

  11. Yearbook Orders -Yearbooks are on sale now.  All orders will be processed on-line. To order, visit www.yearbookordercenter.com and enter the school code: 8341. See the attached flyer for additional details and the ordering link.
  12. LAST CHANCE 8th Grade Yearbook Ads - If your child is in 8th grade and you wish to purchase an ad, please see the attached flyer for details. All ads will be accepted on a space available basis so be sure to get your ad in early. No ads will be accepted after January 13, 2020.
  13. 8th Grade Through the Years Photos - The Yearbook Committee is looking for pictures of the 8th grade from their time at SUS. Please see the attached flyer for instructions on how to submit photos. Deadline is January 17, 2020.  
  14. Mothers’ Club Save the Date - Moms (maternal care givers) and SUS daughters, get ready to dance the night away with this year’s Mother/Daughter dance that will be Valentine’s themed.  The dance will be Friday February 7 from 6p-8p.  Additional details to come in next week’s e-blast.  Hope to see you there!
